How we correct
- Correction — a factual error is fixed and a dated correction notice is appended to the story.
- Clarification — the facts were right but the wording could mislead; we rewrite and note the change.
- Update — a developing story gains new information; the story carries a visible updated timestamp.
We do not silently delete or rewrite published reporting. Every revision is retained in the CMS version history.
Report an error
Email the newsroom with the story URL, the sentence in question and the correct information. We aim to respond within two working days.
