What we do
RNN publishes original reporting, analysis and primary-source documents for readers in Malaysia and the wider region. Every story is filed by a named journalist, edited by a second person and kept permanently addressable at a stable URL.
English and Bahasa Malaysia editions are written independently by our desks. We do not machine-translate reporting between languages.
How the newsroom is organised
- Reporters file and update stories, and are accountable for the accuracy of their own copy.
- Editors verify sourcing, headlines and images before anything is published.
- The chief editor owns the front page, breaking-news decisions and corrections.
- Administrators manage access and keep an audit log of every publishing action.
